Sadiq Abubakar Usman (Daddy Matic) of Katsina United Football Club has left for a trial at Zamalek F.C. in Egypt.
The club, led by Chairman Alh Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, sponsors the player, who is one of the state's homegrown recruits into the team.
The chairman, Kabir Dan'lami Rimi, wishes him a successful journey on behalf of the management, players, technical crew, staff, and sports-loving people in the state and charged him with maintaining excellent behavior in order to achieve success.
During his trial at Zamalek FC in Egypt, Sadiq Abubakar Usman, a.k.a. Daddy Matic, has the option of trialing with two other clubs in Egypt if he does not make it at Zamalek.
This is the first occasion that a state-born player is sponsored by the club for a trip outside the country for a trial.
