Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State on Saturday evening narrowly escaped injury after being involved in a minor road accident along the Daura–Katsina highway while on official duty.
According to information from the Government House, the incident occurred as the governor was returning from a state function. Despite the nature of the accident, he did not sustain any serious injuries.
Officials confirmed that Governor Radda is in stable condition and remains in high spirits. He has since expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection and thanked citizens of Katsina and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
The governor has continued with his official engagements.
