The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Katsina State comnand wishes to bring to the notice of the general public about Katsina state government proactive measures by implementing the recommendations ealier suggested to provide a barrier in other to enforce access restriction to the collapsed bridge side with the view to safe guiding the motoring public from Road traffic crashe.
As at the time of this update, 1723 hours, on Sunday, 10th August 2025, a concrete reflective barrier has been put in place across both lanes such that no vehicle can access the collapsed bridge site.
The Federal Road Safety Corps Sector Commander Katsina CC Maxwell K Lede appreciates the prompt intervention of the state government towards improved safe motoring environment, while we continue to seek cooperation of the public in sustaining the use of alternative routes ealier recommended and to give their maximum support whenever duty calls.
