In fulfillment of Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda’s vision of improving access to clean and safe water, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Bishir Gambo Saulawa, has made significant strides in transforming the sector across Katsina State. His leadership has brought renewed hope to communities through practical interventions and innovative solutions.
Since assuming office, Dr. Saulawa has overseen the rehabilitation of several broken-down boreholes and the expansion of water schemes across the state. These efforts have improved supply to both urban centers and rural communities, ensuring residents have reliable access to potable water. Critical infrastructure, including reservoirs and pipelines, has also been upgraded to meet growing demand.
