The Katsina State Police Command has commemorated 70 years of women’s service in the Nigeria Police Force, honouring retired female officers across the state as part of activities marking the anniversary.

A delegation of serving women officers visited the retirees at their homes, where they held interactive sessions designed to capture experiences and insights that could guide future gender-focused policing strategies.

The retired officers expressed appreciation to the Command for the recognition and urged serving female personnel to remain committed to duty and uphold the values of the Force.
