The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Alhaji Jabiru Tsauri as Director of Community Support Mobilisation in its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.

Tsauri is among prominent APC members appointed to key positions as the ruling party begins preparations for the 2027 general elections.

His appointment places him in charge of coordinating community-level mobilisation and building support for the party across grassroots constituencies as part of its presidential campaign structure.

The APC Presidential Campaign Council is headed by former Zamfara State Governor and Senator, Abdul’aziz Yari, who was appointed Director-General.

Former Katsina State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, was named Deputy Director-General, Parliamentarian Mobilisation, with responsibility for mobilising and coordinating legislators.

Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Muttaqa Rabe-Darma, was appointed North-West Coordinator, while Hon. Ibrahim Kabir Masari was named Deputy Director-General, Logistics and Operations.

Other Katsina figures appointed to the council include Dr Shehu Garba Matazu, Deputy Director, Extractive Industry Sector 3 Mobilisation; Amina Rimi, Secretary, Extractive Sector 3; Hannatu Musawa, Director of Protocol; Prof. Abdulaziz Mashi, Secretary, Community Support Mobilisation I; and Barrister Ibrahim Shema, a member of the Legal Directorate.

Tsauri’s role is expected to focus on strengthening the APC’s grassroots engagement and community support ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The appointments form part of the party’s broader campaign structure aimed at coordinating political mobilisation and consolidating support across the country.
