September 4, 2026: The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Political and Other Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State to remain united ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Masari made the call on Friday while addressing thousands of APC supporters and political stakeholders who gathered at Nabanje, his hometown in Kafur Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The gathering, which took place shortly after the Jumu’ah prayer at Nabanje Mosque, was part of political consultations and grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.

He urged APC supporters across the state to sustain their support for President Tinubu and his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Masari also called on the party’s supporters to support Governor Dikko Umar Radda for continuity of the APC-led administration in Katsina State.

He stressed the need for unity, effective grassroots mobilisation and peaceful political engagement, urging party members to work collectively towards the success of the APC in the 2027 elections.

Masari further appealed to supporters to vote for APC candidates across all elective positions, saying a united party structure was necessary to consolidate its political strength in the state.

Also speaking, Alhaji Maiwada Daudawa commended the turnout at the gathering and called for continued unity and commitment among APC members.

Daudawa said sustained grassroots mobilisation and collective efforts would be critical to the party’s electoral prospects in 2027.

Among those who accompanied Masari to the engagement were the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Dr Muttaka Rabe Darma; Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education, Dr Muhammad Idris; Hon Jabiru Tsauri; Alhaji Maiwada Daudawa; Dr Shehu Matazu; Hon Aminu Ibrahim Kafur; and Hon Samaila Garba Sabuwar Kasa, among others.
