Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Hajiya Rabi Ahmadu Coomassie following her passing.
The late Hajiya Rabi Coomassie was a former Commissioner of Health in Katsina State who served under two successive military administrations.
She was also the younger sister of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Ahmadu Coomassie, former Inspector-General of Police and Sardaunan Katsina.
During the visit, Governor Radda expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Hajiya Rabi Ahmadu Coomassie, whose dedicated service and commitment to the development of Katsina State, particularly in the health sector, will always be remembered. Her years of selfless service to the state remain a lasting legacy," the Governor said.
Governor Radda prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant her eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, and reward her with His infinite mercy.
"May Allah (SWT) grant her soul eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus, comfort her family, and give them the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this great loss," he prayed.
The Governor also prayed for Allah's comfort and blessings upon the entire Coomassie family and all those mourning the late Hajiya Rabi Ahmadu Coomassie.
