The Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, on Tuesday commissioned the Nigerian Communications Commission’s (NCC) Digital Industrial Park (DIP) in Kano State.
The event, held in Kano, was graced by top government officials, including the Deputy Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Aminu Gwarzo, who represented the Executive Governor, and the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande.
Speaking at the commissioning, Dr. Tijani said the new facility reflects the government’s strategic commitment to promoting innovation and digital entrepreneurship in Nigeria’s ICT sector. According to him, the DIP is designed to support research and development efforts, offering a platform to turn innovative ideas into viable, market-ready solutions.
The NCC Digital Industrial Park is expected to drive economic growth, create job opportunities, and foster a vibrant tech ecosystem across Northern Nigeria.
