FRSC Sector Commander Visits Nigerian Air Force Base in Katsina to Strengthen Collaboration

As part of his ongoing familiarization tour, the newly appointed Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Katsina State, Corps Commander Maxwell Kaltungo Lede, paid a courtesy visit to the 213 Forward Operation Base (FOB) of the Nigerian Air Force in Katsina.
Commander Lede was warmly received by the Commander of the 213 FOB, Air Commodore GI Jibia. The visit aimed to reinforce inter-agency collaboration and explore areas of mutual interest between the FRSC and the Nigerian Air Force.
According to Commander Lede, the visit focused on key areas of cooperation, including road safety awareness, emergency response, joint patrols, intelligence sharing, capacity building, and logistics support.
Air Commodore Jibia commended the initiative and expressed the readiness of the Nigerian Air Force to support the FRSC’s operations in Katsina State. He emphasized the importance of synergy between security and safety agencies in enhancing operational effectiveness across the state.
A symbolic exchange of plaques between the two commanders marked the high point of the visit, underscoring the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect.
