The African Union Development Agency – New Partnership for Africa’s Development (AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria) joins Nigerians across the country and in the diaspora to commemorate Democracy Day, celebrating the nation’s progress, resilience, and commitment to democratic governance.
In a goodwill message, the National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi, lauded the collective efforts of Nigerians in sustaining democracy and called for continued unity and active citizenship in shaping the country’s future.
“Democracy Day is a moment to reflect on how far we have come as a nation, and to recommit ourselves to the values of justice, inclusion, and participatory governance. At AUDA-NEPAD Nigeria, we remain steadfast in our mission to support policies and programmes that drive sustainable development, institutional synergy, and inclusive growth,”
said Hon. Jabiru Salisu Abdullahi.
He urged all stakeholders public and private, to uphold democratic ideals and work together towards a peaceful, prosperous, and just Nigeria.
