FRSC Sector Commander Pays Condolence Visit to Katsina SSG Over Brother’s Death

The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Katsina State, Corps Commander Maxwell Kaltungo Lede, on Friday, July 4, 2025, paid a condolence visit to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon. Abdullahi Garba Faskari, following the passing of his younger brother, Alhaji Ibrahim Garba Faskari.

The late Alhaji Ibrahim Garba Faskari, who died on the evening of Wednesday, July 2, 2025, was a staff member of the United Bank for Africa (UBA) before his demise.

During the visit, Corps Commander Lede expressed deep sorrow over the loss but emphasized complete submission to the will of God. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the entire Faskari family, the management and staff of UBA, and the government and people of Katsina State.

He encouraged the bereaved family to remain grateful to Allah for the meaningful life the deceased lived and all he was able to achieve both professionally and personally. Describing the late Ibrahim as a man of integrity and humility, Lede said he left behind a legacy of discipline, compassion, and service to others.

“We can only honour his memory by following his exemplary footsteps and continuing to do good in our respective lives,” Lede added.

A special prayer was offered for the repose of the soul of the deceased by Superintendent Route Commander Idris Yakubu, who was part of the Sector Commander's entourage.
