ANAN National President Arrives Katsina for 3rd MCPD Training, Induction Ceremony

The National President of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Hajiya Talatu Kishimi, has arrived in Katsina ahead of the 3rd Session of the 2025 Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) programme.

The three-day event, scheduled to commence on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, will be held at the Continental Event and Sports Centre in Katsina. This year’s theme is “Taxation and Regulatory Compliance”, reflecting ANAN’s commitment to advancing professional competence and regulatory adherence in the accounting profession.

Hajiya Kishimi arrived in Katsina alongside top executives of the association and state chapter leaders. She was warmly received at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport by officials and local ANAN representatives.

The MCPD training is a compulsory programme for all members of the association. It is designed to enhance capacity, promote continuous learning, and uphold ethical standards within the accounting and finance sectors.

The session will feature keynote addresses, technical presentations, and the formal induction of new members. Participants will also receive guidance on meeting regulatory standards and maintaining professionalism in the practice of accountancy.
