Following the viral video of a resident of Daura, Muhammad Ali, who led the team of labourers that dug the grave of late former Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari,  fans of the late former President have started showering him with gifts.

The Managing Director of the Katsina State Roads Maintenance Agency (KASSROMA), Engr. Sirajo Yazid Abukur, has already pledged the sum of one million Naira for the team.

Abukur has already sent out errands to look for Muhammad Ali and his team to give them the money, he said out of the amount, the two members of Ali's team will each get N250,000.

The KASSROMA Managing Director said the money can serve as capital for the trio to set up businesses that can sustain them and their families.

He commended Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda for the deep concern he has shown before during and after the burial of late Muhammadu Buhari.

He said getting physically involved in the burial of the late former President shows the governor's loyalty, humility and leadership qualities.

Engr. Abukur prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the former President's shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
