The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Saturday attended the wedding fatiha of Hajiya Aisha Adamu, daughter of Ambassador Adamu Saidu Daura, and her groom, Abdussamad Nura Rabiu.
The ceremony, which took place at the palace residence of the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Faruq Umar Faruq, was graced by family members, political associates, and well-wishers from across the country.
The wedding was officiated by Sheikh Nazir Kofar Baru Daura, with the Magajin Gari of Daura, Alhaji Musa Umar, serving as the bride’s waliyyi, while Sheikh Nuhu Isiyaku Rabiu represented the groom’s side.
Governor Radda’s presence at the event highlighted his close ties with community leaders and political associates. Special prayers were offered for the couple, seeking Allah’s blessings for a peaceful and lasting marriage.
The occasion drew several high-profile figures, including former National Security Adviser, General Aliyu Gusau (rtd.); former Jigawa State Governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; prominent businessman Alhaji Dahiru Bara’u Mangal; and family members of the late Islamic scholar, Sheikh Isiyaku Rabiu.
Also in attendance were the Katsina State APC Chairman, Alhaji Sani Aliyu Daura, members of the National and State Assemblies, business leaders, traditional rulers, and religious figures.
