Nigerian media leaders and government officials are currently participating in the ongoing International Press Institute (IPI) World Congress and General Assembly in Vienna, Austria.
Among the participants are Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, former Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu, IPI Executive Board Chairman, Marton Gergely, Mr. Raheem Adedoyin, and Associate Professor Sule Ya’u Sule.
Also at the event are Dr. Fabian Benjamin, Advisor on Public Communication at JAMB; Mallam Rafiu Ajakaye, Chief Press Secretary to the Kwara State Governor; Mr. Steve Ayirinde, CEO of Patrons Media/The Culture Newspaper, and other notable Nigerian media practitioners.
The IPI Board Chairman, Marton Gergely, welcomed Nigeria’s Information Minister, Mohammed Idris Malagi, to the congress on Friday. The minister was accompanied by IPI Nigeria chieftains Raheem Adedoyin and Garba Shehu.
