Nasarawa State Government Debunks Abduction Of Students In Doma LGA As False Publication
The Nasarawa state government has again cautioned against publication of false or unverified reports capable of breaching the prevailing relative peace in the state.
This is contained in a statement by Ibrahim Addra, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.
It calls the publication of an alleged kidnapping of students in Doma LGA of the state as a complete false report.
The statement adds, reports from local authorities, the principal of the purported school and community members indicated no such incidence occurred in the area.
The Nasarawa State Police Command also through its Public Relations Officer in particular had issued a statement categorically debunking this falsehood.
It therefore calls on citizens to disregard the false alarm and remain law abiding that the Government is committed to the security of lives and property in the state.
