A Katsina-born technology expert based in Ghana, Ishaq Abubakar, has said artificial intelligence has completely transformed the way he works, making his daily tasks faster, more accurate, and significantly more productive. His remarks were contained in a viral video he shared on his Facebook page, which has since sparked wide engagement across tech communities.

Abubakar, a software engineer and entrepreneur, explained that he initially feared AI would replace him. However, within one year, the technology instead became what he described as his “second brain”, streamlining every aspect of his workflow.

He said AI now assists him in debugging faster, architecting more reliable systems, analyzing API flows, improving security logic, and enhancing documentation. According to him, tasks that previously took hours or days now take minutes.

Abubakar revealed that although he delivered over 100,000 lines of code this year, almost all were AI-generated. He attributed this to mastering prompt engineering, which enables him to command AI systems efficiently.

Beyond software development, he said AI has also become central to his entrepreneurial activities, functioning like a full business strategist and consultant. He uses AI tools to review ideas, break down costs, prepare proposals, set up production pipelines, automate business planning, and refine leadership communication.

The tech expert also highlighted his experience in Forex trading, noting that while AI does not provide trading signals, it helps him build analytical tools that serve as his “third eye” when studying the market, making trade decisions, and reducing risks.

Abubakar told viewers that no single AI platform can handle every task, stressing that each system has strengths and limitations. He mentioned platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity, advising users to understand which tool fits their specific business needs.

He concluded by inviting viewers to follow his next video, where he plans to explain how individuals and businesses can choose the right AI platform for their operations.
