NEWSFLASH:

 Group Declares Support for APC

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has welcomed the Katsina Youth in Politics (KASYPO) group back to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Radda received the KASYPO delegation, led by Comrade Hassan Bindawa, at the Government House, Katsina, following the group’s decision to return to the APC and support the Governor’s development agenda.

The Governor said the youths’ decision showed their ability to distinguish between politicians who genuinely seek to serve the people and those who approach politics with the intention of deceiving them.

"One can tell the difference between a politician who comes with the intention to deceive the people and one who genuinely intends to help them," Governor Radda said.

He advised the youths to remain patient and focused in politics, urging them to avoid having too many ambitions at once, as excessive ambitions could hinder their progress.

Earlier, Comrade Hassan Bindawa, leader of KASYPO, said some members initially joined the ADC because they expected opportunities for youths and women to participate meaningfully in politics.

He said they later realised there was no clear pathway for youths to play the meaningful roles they had hoped for.

"We decided to support Governor Radda because of his development projects and the opportunities he is creating for youths. Even if everyone cannot get a position or direct opportunity, we can see the opportunities being created by his administration," Bindawa said.

He said the group’s decision was also based on its assessment of the Governor’s development efforts and commitment to youth inclusion.

Also Speaking, the group’s patron, Dr. Biliyaminu Ingawa, said the youths themselves requested to visit the Governor to formally declare their loyalty and support.

He said he led the group to the Governor at their request, describing the move as a demonstration of their confidence in the Radda administration.
