The Katsina State Chapter of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has praised Governor Dikko Umar Radda for what it described as his swift and effective response to the recent security challenges in Gidan Mantau, Malumfashi Local Government Area.
In a statement signed by its chairman, Shehu Musa Dankano, the forum commended the governor’s condolence visit to the affected community shortly after his return from a medical trip. The ACF noted Governor Radda’s pledge to construct an access road, a school, and a hospital in Mantau, as well as his commitment to rebuilding the community mosque and supporting bereaved families.
The forum stressed its agreement with the governor’s position that security should not be politicized, noting his assertion that “security is our collective responsibility.”
“We call on the good people of Katsina State to stand firmly behind the government in its efforts to restore peace and ensure lasting security,” the statement read.
The ACF also urged residents to give maximum support to security agencies who continue to work under difficult conditions to protect lives and property. Citizens were further advised to remain vigilant and collaborate with traditional rulers and community leaders to promote peace across the state.
