As Advocacy Group Commends Governor Radda commitment to Women Empowerment

The Special Adviser on Banking and Finance to Katsina State Governor, Hajiya Bilkisu Sulaiman Ibrahim, has received dual recognition for her exemplary public service contributions and ethical leadership.

The Special Adviser was honoured with the Integrity Stewardship Award and inducted as a "Service Ambassador" by the Advocacy for Peace and Values Re-orientation, an Abuja-based non-governmental organisation promoting peace, integrity, and good governance across Nigeria.

The presentation took place during a courtesy visit by a delegation led by the organization's Executive Director, Comrade Abubakar Abraham Oyibo, alongside the Katsina State Coordinator and other senior members.

"The recognition was based on her proven track record of integrity, visionary leadership, and contribution to economic development within the state," Comrade Oyibo stated during the visit.

The Executive Director also commended Hajiya Bilkisu for her dedication, humility, and excellence in public service.

Comrade Oyibo revealed that the organization's nationwide program targets reforms in five critical sectors: education policy systems, health sector reform, infrastructural development, youth inclusiveness in governance, and economic reform and sustainability. The program covers Nigeria's six geopolitical zones, with Katsina and Kaduna States selected for focused engagement in the Northwest region.

Comrade Oyibo praised Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda's administration as "intelligent, people-oriented, and particularly outstanding in its commitment to women empowerment," describing Hajiya Ibrahim as "one in a million" and a shining example of female leadership in governance.

The organization's Executive Director noted that despite widespread reports of corruption and maladministration across the country during their nationwide field assessment, Katsina State stood out as "a beacon of hope, order, and responsible governance."

Responding to the honour, Hajiya Bilkisu expressed gratitude and described the recognition as both humbling and inspiring.

She pledged unwavering commitment to promoting inclusive and sustainable growth across all sectors while reaffirming her loyalty to Governor Radda's vision of integrity, accountability, and people-centered development.

In a separate recognition, the Special Adviser also received a Fellowship Award from the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD) during the organization's 2025 Kick-off Strategy Conference. The award, presented to her representative, Director of Admin Hajiya Bilkisu Idris, recognized her distinguished professional contributions to public service.

The ICAD conference featured a keynote presentation on "Advancing Organizational Productivity through Leadership 2.0 Principles" by Dr. Julius Bolade Anjorin, which emphasized modern, people-centered leadership approaches vital for dynamic business and governance environments.

The dual recognition reinforces Katsina State's commitment to accountability, innovation, and institutional excellence in public finance management.
