The Basico Alumni Association has congratulated one of its members, Alhaji Lamis Dikko on his election as the second Vice Chairman of the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Directors in Nigeria.
A statement signed by the Secretary General of the association, Tamani Yusuf, says the appointment which was announced at the recently concluded 41st Annual General Meeting of the body, is a testament to Dikko's leadership qualities.
The statement notes that Dikko's "many years of distinguished service have made a profound impact" on the organizations he had served, stating that the organization is proud of him.
"As the Ajiyan Katsina and current Chairman of NNDC, his leadership has been instrumental in shaping the future of corporate governance in Nigeria.
"With leaders like Dikko at the helm, the future of corporate governance in Nigeria has just gotten brighter, his expertise, experience, and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly continue to inspire and drive positive change.
"The Basico Alumni Association congratulates Alhaji Lamis Dikko on this well-deserved appointment and looks forward to his continued success and support for the Alumni Association", the statement noted.
