The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Engr. Muttaqha Rabe Darma, on Thursday led a high-level delegation on an inspection tour of the Karsana Renewed Hope City project and the Federal Government Military Housing Estate in Abuja.
The minister was accompanied by the Minister of State, Yusuf Ata, the Permanent Secretary, and other senior management staff of the ministry.
The inspection covered key infrastructure and housing developments at the Karsana Renewed Hope City, a flagship project aimed at expanding affordable housing under the Federal Government’s urban development agenda.
The team also visited the Federal Government Military Housing Estate developed by Brain and Hammers, where they assessed ongoing construction and the quality of facilities provided for military personnel.
Officials said the visit was part of efforts by the ministry to monitor progress on strategic housing projects and ensure compliance with approved standards and timelines.
The inspection underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to addressing housing deficits and improving living conditions for Nigerians, particularly through public-private partnerships and targeted housing schemes.
