NUJ Katsina Council Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council, heartily felicitates with Muslim faithful in Katsina State, Nigeria and across the world on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement issued by the Secretary of the Council, Abbas Bamalli, the Chairman of the Council, Aminu Garba-Dandagoro, urged Muslims to continue to uphold the virtues of sacrifice, patience, obedience and compassion as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
The Chairman called on the people to use the festive period to pray fervently for lasting peace, unity, security and socio-economic development in Katsina State and Nigeria at large.
Garba-Dandagoro also prayed for sustainable peace in Katsina State and an end to insecurity affecting communities across the state and the country.
He appealed to residents to celebrate peacefully, support the less privileged and promote mutual understanding and harmony among citizens irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
The chairman further prayed for Allah’s continued blessings, protection and prosperity upon the people and wished Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
