The management of Katsina State Radio has congratulated Aminu Garba Dandagoro on his emergence as Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Katsina State Council.

In a statement issued by the General Manager of the station, Lawal Attahiru Bakori, the organisation also extended its congratulations to other members of the newly elected executive council of the union.

Bakori described Dandagoro as a highly qualified and committed professional, expressing confidence that the NUJ in Katsina State would record greater achievements under his leadership.

He noted that through effective engagement, wide consultation, and by building on the achievements of the immediate past leadership, the union would continue to grow stronger and protect the welfare and interests of journalists across the state.

The general manager appealed to journalists across all NUJ chapels to give the new leadership maximum support and cooperation to ensure the success of their tenure.

He also prayed for wisdom, strength, and guidance for the new executive to successfully discharge their responsibilities in advancing the journalism profession in the state.
